Step 11.
Layout is critical in the next couple steps.
If you look carefully you can I've drawn layout lines on the foam
core piece for the piano's back. The top line is .75 inches
from the top (I would mark the top as top, it'll be covered up.)
Now, you need to center everything. Remember the decal is
wider (by the width of two pieces of foam core) than the back
piece of foam core. The center bar is .5 wide and each of
the openings are an inch and a half wide. If you draw it out
and it's not centered, flip the piece and do it over. When
you get it the way you like it, cut the openings in the piece.
Step 12.
Cut the back decal. Cut down the middle of
each one. Then cut across the top and bottom. Fold the
four flaps as shown.
Step 13.
Hot glue the front to one of the side pieces as
shown. Carefully line up the front edge.
Step 14.
Hot glue the back and other side piece as shown.
Carefully line up the edges. Make sure the top is up when
gluing the back.
Step 15.
Hot glue the two key board sides as shown to the
keyboard bottom.
Step 16.
On the front draw a line 2 1/2" from the bottom.
This will serve as a guide for lining up the bottom of the
keyboard tray for gluing.
Step 17.
Glue the keyboard try to the body line the
bottom up with the line you drew in step 16.
